The Trump administration is recalling over two dozen ambassadors and high-level diplomats from different posts around the world, according to The Washington Post.

The State Department reportedly said the rationale for doing so was to promote an "America First" agenda.

“An ambassador is a personal representative of the president, and it is the president’s right to ensure that he has individuals in these countries who advance the ‘America First’ agenda,” a senior State Department official told The Post.
