Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Skippylongstocking, Wolfie's Dynaghost and Rattle N Roll landed a 1-2-3 combination for old guys in weekend horse racing, while in the 2-year-old division, two more names joined the Kentucky Derby scorecard.
More in a moment, but first, this news tidbit: Santa Anita has pushed back its traditional Dec. 26 Opening Day to Sunday because of predicted heavy rain. The Boxing Day opener is one of the high points of the holiday racing season and, judging by the entries, it will be worth the wait.
