There will be disruption in power supply in several areas of Bengaluru from December 25 to 28, 2025, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. The disruption is due to the replacement of the existing 66 kV Sarjapura–Attibele single-circuit (SC) line with High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors and the stringing of a second circuit using HTLS from the 220/66/11 kV Sarjapura Station.

According to a BESCOM notification, the following areas will be affected:

66/11 kV Attibele Zone: Yadvanahalli, Ichanguru, Vaddarapalya, Attibele Industrial Area, Balagaranahalli, Manchanahalli, Attibele Town, Mayasandra, Dasanapura, Balluru, Kablipura, Chikkanahalli, Indilabele, Harohalli, and surrounding areas

66/11 kV Anekal Zone: Anekal Town, Kavaluhosahalli, Gowrenahalli, Haldenahalli, Hompalagatta, Choodenahalli, Honnakalashapura, Karpuru, Byagadadenhahalli, Kada Agrahara, Chikkahagade, Doddahagade, and surrounding areas.
