Since a win over rival Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl late last month, Ole Miss football has been swallowed by intrigue and speculation.

The weeks-long drama saw coach Lane Kiffin leave for rival LSU and the Rebels respond by almost immediately naming his replacement and the program juggle to keep as much of its coaching staff together as possible.

Now, at long last, Ole Miss will get to play another game. It's a pretty important one, too.

The No. 6 seed Rebels will host No. 11 seed Tulane in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.
