Recently, I reached out to members of the HuffPost newsroom with the intent of finding out the items on everyone’s Amazon Prime Day wish lists. It was then that I first heard about the Pura smart scent diffuser, a sleek little home addition that was coveted by more than one person.
The first thing that may come to mind when you hear the words “scent diffuser” are those headache-inducing plug-ins that overwhelm rooms and seem a bit antiquated in design. I was quickly assured, however, that the Pura is an elevated alternative that keeps spaces consistently smelling luxurious, while also being completely customizable and innovative.
You can choose from four models: the Mini, Version Four, the Plus, and the Car Pro. The Pura Version Four is the standard and commonly sold in starter kits that provide the diffuser and two scents.
Senior culture editor Erin Evans is a proud Pura owner of about a year and she said she’s gotten so many compliments about how good her apartment smells.
“There are two fragrance cartridges in [the diffuser] so you can alternate which scents you use for any schedule you choose [and] the app to do so is really intuitive,” Evans said. “I just love knowing that when I sit at my desk, there’s an inviting scent floating through the air.”
