WASHINGTON ― The moment of truth is almost here in the months-long saga over the federal government's files in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
But despite Congress passing a new law requiring the full release of the documents from the investigation of the accused sex trafficker, legal experts don't expect all the files in the Trump administration's possession to be publicized.
And if that's the case, the question becomes: How many documents were withheld or redacted ‒ and why?

"There is zero chance we will get 100% of the documents," said Eric O'Neill, a national security lawyer and former FBI counterintelligence operative, pointing to legal guidelines to protect Epstein's victims and not to jeopardize pending federal investigations.
