NeTrinamool Congress MPs staged an overnight protest on the steps of the old Parliament building, Samvidhan Sadan, on Thursday (December 18, 2025), against the passage of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) Bill.They alleged that the Bill, which seeks to replace the UPA-era Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), was “bulldozed” through both Houses without debate.
