From Han Solo to Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford has given us a career full of iconic characters, and his fellow thespians are honoring his legendary legacy.

The 83-year-old "Star Wars" star is set to receive the SAG-AFTRA life achievement award at the 32nd Actor Awards (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards). Ford will be feted at the March 1 ceremony streaming live on Netflix.

In a statement, Ford said he was "deeply honored" by the choice. "To be acknowledged by my fellow actors means a great deal to me. I’ve spent most of my life on film sets, working alongside incredible actors and crews, and I’ve always felt grateful to be part of this community,” he said.

Ford is the 61st SAG-AFTRA life achievement recipient, following other recent honorees such as Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Sally Field, Helen Mirren and Robert De Niro.
