Dec. 17 (UPI) -- A British couple scored a prize worth $1,337,925 from the National Lottery just seven years after collecting the same amount from EuroMillions Millionaire Maker.

The National Lottery said Wales residents Richard Davies, 49, and Faye Stevenson-Davies, 43, matched the five numbers and Bonus Ball in the Nov. 26 Lotto drawing, earning a prize of £1,000,000 -- the equivalent of $1,337,925 in the United States.

The couple said their prize was the result of four consecutive Lotto drawings that brought them luck.

"When you match two numbers in the Lotto draw, you automatically win a Lucky Dip for the next game. That's what's happened to us," Richard Davies told the National Lottery. "We matched two numbers and won a free Lucky Dip for the draw on [Nov. 15]. That put us into the next draw and so on, until the winning draw on Wednesday 26th November."

The duo previously collected the same prize amount from a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker in June 2018.
