Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Serial Guinness World Record-breaker David Rush teamed up with his 9-year-old son, Jeremy, to make a sandwich and break a record in the process.
Rush, who recently broke the record for the fastest time to clear Hungry Hungry Hippos by a team of two with his other son, Peter, recruited 9-year-old Jeremy to take on the title for the fastest time to make a sandwich by a team of two (blindfolded/no hands).
Rush donned the blindfold for the attempt, while Jeremy directed him without using his own hands.
"He became my eyes telling me exactly where everything was, guiding every movement," Rush wrote online. "Together, we worked as one unit. We practiced. We adjusted. We went through several loaves of bread."
The duo assembled a ham, cheese and butter sandwich with tomatoes in 36.5 seconds, besting the previous record of 40.17 seconds.
