Dec. 16 (UPI) -- An animal services officer in Virginia came to the rescue of a red fox that spent several hours stuck between the wooden slats of a fence.
The Fairfax County Animal Shelter said on social media that an officer responded to a report from a concerned resident about a fox with the middle of its body stuck in a wooden fence.
The shelter said the fox is believed to have been stuck for several hours before the rescuer arrived.
