Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered strikes on three more alleged drug boats, killing eight people.
Amid ongoing concerns about a legally dubious "double tap" operation on Sept. 2, the U.S. military said on Monday it struck more "narco-terrorists" in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
In a post on X, the military's Southern Command said the strikes were made at Hegseth's direction.
