Disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein used expensive properties in New York, South Florida, the Virgin Islands and Paris to coerce minor girls into sex, according to multiple court filings.
Epstein, a wealth adviser who was connected to a number of rich and famous people, including future President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, died by suicide while in federal custody in August 2019. He was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
After his death, a number of women have stepped forward to say Epstein abused them. A July 2025 review by the Justice Department and the FBI concluded that Epstein harmed more than 1,000 victims.
Thousands of Epstein files have been made public by federal officials, and more are scheduled for release by Dec. 19 under a law Trump signed. Those pages contain locations where Epstein allegedly abused minor girls.
