Dec. 15 (UPI) -- A Washington, D.C., family said more than 100 packages intended for a local hotel have been delivered to their home during the past six months.

A resident, who wished to be identified only as Brittany, said she believes guests at the Arlo, a hotel about a mile from her home, have apparently been ordering packages intended to be delivered to the hotel, but mistakenly clicking her address on Amazon instead.

She said her address appears before the hotel's address on Amazon's options list.

"We've received everything from cat food to vitamin supplements to even a chainsaw," Brittany told NBC4 Washington. "Luckily, that guest came to pick it up, but we did not ask questions. Nor did we answer the door."

Brittany said there is a one-letter difference between her address and that of the Arlo.
