Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Patrick Mahomes, Micah Parsons and Davante Adams were among the NFL players injured in Week 15. Injured players will be evaluated this week to determine potential timelines for return.
Rome Odunze, Bam Knight, Samaje Perine, Woody Marks and Derek Stingley were among other players injured in Week 15.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced that Mahomes sustained a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee in the fourth quarter of a 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in Kansas City, Mo. He is exploring surgical options.
"Don't know why this had to happen," Mahomes wrote Sunday on X. "And not going to lie, it hurts. But all we can do now is trust in God and attack every single day over and over again.
"Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I will be back stronger than ever."
