Two people were found dead in the Brentwood home of Hollywood director Rob Reiner on Sunday, Dec. 14, authorities confirmed to USA TODAY.
The Los Angeles Fire Department told USA TODAY on Sunday, Dec. 14, that paramedics were called to the home on the 200 block of Chadbourne at around 3:30 p.m. local time. LAFD said a man and a woman were found deceased inside the home, and their ages were approximately 78 and 68.
The names of the victims have not been released. A cause of death was not given.
USA TODAY has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and a representative for Reiner for further information.
According to NBC Los Angeles, there was a heavy police presence Sunday at the residence. Neighbors told the local news outlet that Reiner and his wife live in the home.
