This highly-rated belt treats pain with infrared lights and 140 LEDs.
The compression belt uses clinical-grade LED lights with “Near-Infrared Red Light” (NIR) technology for a non-invasive way to pain relief. It has three red light options you can toggle (630nm, 660nm and 850nm). The brand claims that the lower option is great for sustained pain relief, while the stronger end of the spectrum can penetrate deeper into the skin and toward the muscle, reducing soreness, pain and inflammation you’d typically feel after a workout, thus aiding in recovery. (The jury’s still out on whether or not these lights are truly effective. However, many experts do credit red lights with reducing pain and inflammation.)
The pain-relieving device is also portable despite being a plug-in.
The device is basically a compression belt that’s fairly easy to wrap around any sore parts and still walk and move around freely. Additionally, the power plug is plenty lengthy. Although the belt has to be plugged in to use, so many users say they enjoy using it with a power bank.
“The design makes [it] easy and versatile to put on comfortably; and I’ll usually use it for 30 minutes when getting in bed and again just before getting out of bed in the morning,” says one user. “It’s extremely portable and I can take it anywhere around the house, to work, or even in the car while I’m driving.
