President Donald Trump blurted out that fact-checked admission during a Dec. 9 episode of "The Conversation," a podcast hosted by Politico's White House bureau chief Dasha Burns.
Trump, seated across from Burns in his signature outfit, a deep red tie and navy-blue suit, appeared on the program to discuss his administration's global relations. And he was right.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the former Dutch prime minister, referred to Trump as "daddy" during the alliance's annual summit in June.
