But in this instance, he nodded off over an empty part of the folder and seemed to slightly jolt awake a few seconds later as he turned to Rollins.Wakey wakey, Mr. President!His eyelids appear to fight gravity at about 12:50, but the true lullaby effect seems to begin around 13:06:Just last week, Trump appeared to briefly sleep as Secretary of State Marco Rubio chatted away.The president seemed to visit dreamland on the job in November as well.Trump pushed back mightily at a recent New York Times report that his energy ain’t what it used to be.But his impromptu siestas perhaps tell a different story.The Daily Beast, which spotted Trump’s snooze snippet on Monday, got a thoughtful response from the White House: “The Daily Beast is a trash publication spreading lies daily about President Trump.”Close
