Tampa Bay Downs returns to action, also with a matched set of races for 2-year-olds. And the premier 2-year-old West Coast fillies take on the Starlet at Los Alamitos, where trainer Bob Baffert seeks his ninth straight win.
On the international scene, Japanese Grade 1 action switches from last weekend's thrilling Japan Cup on the Tokyo Racecourse turf to Sunday's Champions Cup on the Chukyo Racecourse dirt.
