Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Five Nights at Freddy's 2 opens in theaters Friday, bringing a new chapter to the video game adaptation.
The sequel and the original 2023 film are based on the horror video game franchise from Scott Cawthon, which follows a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
The restaurant's animatronic characters come to life at night with murderous intent. One of them is Toy Chica, portrayed by Megan Fox.
Josh Hutcherson stars as Mike, who goes looking for his 11-year-old sister (Piper Rubio) in the abandoned pizzeria.
"Everything's just like cranked up to level 11," Hutcherson said in a featurette promoting the film, which also stars Elizabeth Lail, Freddy Carter, Theodus Crane, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard.
