Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Disney+ and Hulu are attempting to set a new Guinness World Record by constructing a 25.6-foot tall gingerbread house based on the McCallister house in Home Alone.

The effort is part of a series of events the streaming services are hosting to celebrate the Christmas movie's 35th anniversary.

Once completed, the gingerbread house will be 58 feet long and 42 feet wide and will be constructed using 5,700 pounds of flour and more than 4,200 eggs. There will be 4,400 gingerbread brick tiles and 800 roof tiles held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and 20 pounds of fondant.

Organizers are planning to construct the gingerbread house in Los Angeles and open it up to the public for viewing -- weather dependent -- on Dec. 18 and 19.

Disney+ and Hulu are also opening up Little Nero's Prince St. Pizza pop-up locations in Los Angeles, Chicago and Toronto. Open Dec. 10-17, the shops will feature pizza boxes, menus, collectible packaging and even "a lovely cheese pizza" inspired by Kevin's favorite pizza order in the movies.
