Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Peacock has released its first teaser for The 'Burbs, a series inspired by the 1989 horror-comedy classic.
Starring Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy and Mark Proksch, the contemporary show is set to premiere on Peacock Feb. 8.
Celeste Hughey -- whose credits include Palm Royale and Dead to Me -- is writing and executive producing the new version.
"The 'Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband's childhood home," a synopsis said.
"Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood."
