Bad Bunny is Spotify’s top global artist of 2025, the streaming service announced Wednesday morning.
Earning 19.8 billion streams globally, the Puerto Rican rapper beat out Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Drake and Billie Eilish, who rounded out the top five. Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Arijit Singh and Fuerza Regida also made the Top 10.
Spotify releases its Spotify Wrapped list annually, allowing users to see which performers topped their personal lists, with year-end recaps of top genres and songs. One new feature this year includes your “listening age, which compares your taste to others in your age group,” according to Variety.
This is Bad Bunny’s fourth time being Spotify’s top global artist. He reigned in 2020, 2021 and 2022. But Swift took the crown in 2023, with Benito ranking in second. In 2024, he landed in third place, after Swift and The Weeknd.
But Bad Bunny, whose government name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has reclaimed the throne after weeks after his “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico, concluded in late September and months after his hit album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” was released in January.
