Dec. 4 (UPI) -- A U.S. Marine has died from injuries sustained during what officials are calling "a tactical vehicle mishap" during routine training in California.
Little information about the Marine and the incident has been made public.
According to a statement from I Marine Expeditionary Force, the incident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. PDT at Camp Pendleton.
The unidentified Marine was assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force.
"The cause of the incident is currently under investigation," I MEF said.
