A description on the government's USIP website describes the headquarters as "the nation’s independent, nonpartisan institute that supports the Executive Branch in resolving violent conflict abroad."Later this week Trump is expected to host leaders from Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo at the site to sign a peace agreement.
