Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released pictures and videos from the late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s island on Wednesday.
The Republican-led committee subpoenaed JPMorganChase, Deutsche Bank and the U.S. Virgin Islands government last month for records related to Epstein.
Democrats released an apparent portion of the material from the Virgin Islands Department of Justice: 10 photos and four videos that seem to show parts of Epstein’s infamous island property.
“These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said in a release.
One of the images shows what appears to be a dentist chair in a room with masks on the walls. Videos show the island’s helicopter landing pad, a guest room and a pool.
