Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The Jonas Brothers were honored Wednesday for their 20 years of success in the entertainment business with a hand- and footprint ceremony at the fabled TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.
The three Jonas Brothers -- Kevin, Joe and Nick -- were 18, 16 and 13 the first time they visited the city, taking meetings to launch their now decades-long career, with the Chinese Theater topping their list of places to visit.
"We were listening to Weezer's album" while their manager drove them around town, Joe Jonas said. "We were singing [Weezer's] 'Beverly Hills, that's where I want to be. We were like, 'We're going to do this. We're going to be out here, we're going to make it out here."
The ceremony comes as "A Very Jonas Christmas Movie" premiere's on Disney+ and as they wind down their "Greetings From Your Hometown" U.S. tour that also marks their 20th anniversary.
The first Jonas Brothers album, "It's About Time," in 2006 introduced them and their own Disney Channel show, "Jonas," turned them into massive stars. They've since become movie stars -- including the "Camp Rock" series -- and sold millions of albums.
