Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The owner of a dog sledding team said all nine of his canines survived when their trailer overturned on a Minnesota highway and one of them ran off.

Jack and Kris Christopher, owners of Monticello-based Silent Run Adventures, said they was driving on Interstate 494 in Minnetonka when their trailer overturned about 10 a.m. Saturday.

"The back end came loose on me, corrected, corrected, pretty soon the trailer was moving," Jack Christopher told WCCO-TV.

He said the trailer essentially split in half.

"The next thing I knew I looked at my side view mirror and I could see plywood and it was the bottom of my trailer," he said. "Mostly I was worried about the dogs."
