The media world has been turned upside down in recent weeks by the unrolling drama of journalist Olivia Nuzzi, whose newly released memoir, “American Canto,” details her election-season tryst with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Nuzzi lost her job as a political reporter for New York magazine last year after her relationship with Kennedy became public. She also lost her fiancé, former Politico reporter Ryan Lizza, who has since published a withering series of Substack posts intended to tell his side of the story.
