Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Justin Herbert, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Sauce Gardner were among the NFL players injured in Week 13. Injured players will be evaluated this week to determine the extent of their injuries and potential timelines for return.
Joey Bosa, Jack Conklin, Maliek Collins, Patrick Queen and Kyle Juszczyk were among other NFL players hurt in Week 13.
Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said Herbert fractured the back of his left hand and will undergo surgery Monday. He also said he did not know if Herbert would miss time.
Herbert told reporters that he thinks he sustained the injury while on a scramble during the 31-14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in Inglewood, Calif. The Chargers quarterback, who threw for 151 yards, two scores and an interception, left the game in the first quarter, but returned in the second. He also said he expects to play in Week 14.
"They are hopeful, so I think that's a good thing," Herbert said, when asked about the Chargers' optimism about his injury.
