RIYADH: Hail Gov. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad and Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel inaugurated 37 new healthcare projects in the Hail region, representing investments exceeding SR1.6 billion ($426 million).
The initiative marks a major milestone in advancing the Kingdom’s Health Sector Transformation Program under Vision 2030, according to a ministry press release.
Prince Abdulaziz reaffirmed the region’s commitment to expanding access to healthcare and improving service quality, noting that the newly launched projects reflect the government’s sustained investment in strengthening the Kingdom’s health infrastructure.
The developments include the opening of Hail General Hospital, several Saudi Red Crescent Authority projects, and major upgrades such as expanded endoscopy services, enhanced pediatric intensive care, and improvements to the Diabetic Foot Center at King Khalid Hospital.
Moqaq General Hospital also benefited from upgraded dental clinics, along with the inauguration of a new primary healthcare center under the Hail Health Cluster.
