President Donald Trump said Saturday the air space above Venezuela is to be closed, amid escalating tensions with the Venezuelan government and a military campaign against drug cartels off the coast of Venezuela.
Trump instructed “Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers” to “please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY,” he wrote Saturday on Truth Social.
