ISLAMABAD: Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha will be eyeing another tri-series victory today, Saturday, when the Green Shirts take on Asian rivals Sri Lanka in the final of the tri-nation series in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan will look to shrug off their defeat against Sri Lanka in the last match played between the two sides on Nov. 27 when the hosts were beaten by six runs in a last-over thriller.

Pakistan had earlier secured their place in the final, beating Zimbabwe twice in the tournament and Sri Lanka once.

“The final of the T20 Tri-Series series will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka today,” state broadcaster Radio Pakistan reported. “The match will start at 06:00 p.m.”

Agha led from front with his highest T20I score, 63, in the last match. He scored his fifth half-century in T20Is, after walking in to bat when Pakistan were 29-2 in the fourth over.
