California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) press team turned to the conservative Drudge Report to taunt President Donald Trump this Thanksgiving.
Newsom’s communications office (which has been no stranger to trolling Trump in recent months) shared on X a screenshot of the Matt Drudge–founded site’s top headlines, which read:
TURKEY PRICE UP 24%
“Welcome to Trump’s golden era!” the Newsom team sarcastically captioned the post.
The jab came as Trump officials continued trying to falsely claim that the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner has dropped thanks to the president.
