MAKKAH: The Muslim World League has launched a new digital reference platform for Islamic studies named Minhaj.
The MWL’s Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa presented the app at a ceremony in Makkah on Wednesday.
The inauguration was attended by representatives of Islamic bodies and organizations.
During the launch, Al-Issa explained that the platform includes an international Shariah-based framework developed over many years by senior jurists and experts.
Minhaj has “high institutional credibility” that counters the “contradiction and inconsistency” found in some religious programs, said Al-Issa.
