Christmas just came super early! If you’re looking for a new screen to supplement your smartphone or laptop, good news: The 11th-generation iPad is on sale right now at its lowest price of the year. Also known as the iPad A16, this is the latest generation of iPad, released on March 12, 2025. The price is down from $349 to $274, or $75 off. And per the reviews, this baby’s features are worth it — from the brilliant display to a jaw-dropping processor that makes it ultra-speedy. Right on time for gifting yourself or loved ones, we’re spotting its record-low price at both Amazon and Walmart (and for the rollback retailer, this means you could scoop this online and pick it up today if you like).
The 11th generation iPad is a major upgrade from previous-gen iPads, but just under the processing power of the iPad Pro and iPad Mini — all thanks to an A16 Pro chip. This is chip adds speed to basic functions, though it’s notably the only iPad that doesn’t feature Apple Intelligence (AI). In other words, it will not perform tasks by studying your personalized data.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t a powerhouse, though. “You literally cannot get this amount of computing power for the price anywhere else,” explains one reviewer. “6GB of RAM and 128 GB storage are awesome for casual use...[…] But this device does everything I need and is more powerful and elegant than mid-level MacBook pros that cost $1000 more 10 years ago.”
