iOS 26.2 Update—Here’s What’s Landing On Your iPhone Next Month

Apple’s iOS 26.2 is coming soon, along with a bunch of cool new features for your iPhone. In addition to new features, the iOS 26.2 update will likely include security patches and bug fixes. Here’s what to expect from the latest iPhone update when it arrives.

Like most iPhone point upgrades, iOS 26.2 will come with new iPhone features. One of the best for security is a new setting that Apple is calling Enhanced Safety Alerts. Available in your Settings > Notifications, Apple will allow iPhone users in supported regions to toggle on switches for earthquake alerts and imminent threat alerts, according to 9to5Mac.

Apple will also add a privacy option that shares “your approximate location with Apple to improve the timeliness and reliability of Enhanced Safety Alerts.”
