RIYADH: The Saudi Cabinet on Tuesday welcomed US President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the conflicts in Sudan and the Gaza Strip.
During the session’s opening, which was chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ministers highlighted the importance of the agreements signed with the US last week in the defense, artificial intelligence, civil nuclear energy, critical minerals, education, and financial sectors.
The crown prince’s state visit to the US aimed to strengthen the strategic partnership with Washington and advance a shared vision for a stable and secure Middle East, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Cabinet highlighted the Kingdom’s eagerness to capitalize on opportunities in the US through the $270 billion in investments announced during the Saudi-US Investment Forum.
Partnerships aimed at contributing to building a diversified and sustainable Saudi economy and to creating opportunities for companies across various fields, including energy, technology, education, defense, and security.
