Nov. 24 (UPI) -- The White House on Monday welcomed its official Christmas tree to the executive mansion for the 2025 holiday season.

First lady Melania Trump greeted a 25-foot concolor fir tree in the afternoon on the front steps of the White House North Portico, and it is to be placed in its traditional spot in the Blue Room.

The tree arrived via Korson's Tree Farms in Michigan, according to the White House.

Korson's was the first Michigan tree farm since 1985 to be recipient of the Grand Champion Growers title from the National Christmas Tree Association, which it won in July.
