An employee with Immigration and Customs Enforcement who was arrested in a Minnesota child sex trafficking sting allegedly told police: “I’m ICE, boys.”

Alexander Back, 41, is a civilian employee who works as an auditor with the Department of Homeland Security. He was arrested along with 15 others earlier this month for allegedly attempting to solicit a 17-year-old girl for sex.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges held a press conference Tuesday to describe the sting ― called “Operation Creep” ― and the 16 men who were arrested over the course of three days starting on Nov. 5.

“For the life of me, I don’t understand why people want to come here and do this. We arrested 16 people. There’s a song by Radiohead ‘I’m a creep,’ every single one of these guys that did this is a creep,” Hodges said at the press conference.

Hodges went through the names and mugshot of each individual arrested in the sting, which also included a staffer at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Hodges saved Back, the ICE worker, for last.
