Christ University hosted a two-day international conference titled “Global Engagements: A Historical Perspective from Ancient to Modern Times and Future Prospects” on November 13 and 14, bringing together over 100 scholars, diplomats, and policymakers.

With 52 paper presentations and experts from leading Indian institutions, the event explored India’s diplomatic traditions from ancient statecraft to contemporary strategic challenges. Chief Guest Dr. A.A. Chandradasan sparked a debate with his remarks on colonial cultural influence.

The valedictory address by Justin Oxin Bhaskar emphasised strengthening India-ASEAN ties.
