Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) on Sunday hit back at President Donald Trump, who attacked his marriage in a social media post last week.

“We’re taking it with a grain of salt,” Massie said on “This Week” on ABC. “He’s being a bully or trying to be a bully.”

Massie married Carolyn Grace Moffa in October. Rhonda Howard Massie, his first wife and “high school sweetheart,” died suddenly in June 2024 after more than 30 years of marriage. No cause of death was given.

Thrice-married Trump disparaged Massie over the nuptials on Friday.

“Did Thomas Massie, sometimes referred to as Rand Paul Jr., because of the fact that he always votes against the Republican Party, get married already??? Boy, that was quick!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
