Miles Teller is saying the quiet part out loud.
The "Top Gun Maverick" actor, 38, opened up about the lack of critical – and box office – success received by his 2015 film "Fantastic Four." In an appearance on SiriusXM's "Radio Andy," Teller told host Andy Cohen that he and other stars knew the film wasn't good during the press tour.
"When you were on the press tour for 'Fantastic Four,' is it safe to surmise that y'all knew that the movie was not great?" Cohen asked. In response, Teller nodded and laughed.
"You saw the movie, right? Your eyes were working during that time?" he said in a Southern drawl, joking that when he adopts that tone, he can say things "a little more cutting."
"Yeah, I think it's unfortunate for that, because so many people worked so hard on that movie," Teller continued. "And, honestly, maybe there was one really important person who kind of (expletive) it all up."
