An outspoken victim of sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein is raising questions about the case after saying she heard nothing from the Trump administration when she expressed concerns over partner in crime Ghislaine Maxwell’s transfer to a lighter security prison — where she reportedly receives “special treatment.”
Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security prison in Bryan, Texas, over the summer after opening up to the Department of Justice about President Donald Trump’s relationship with Epstein. At that time, Maxwell claimed she “never witnessed” Trump “in any inappropriate setting in any way.”
Sources with knowledge of Maxwell’s life in prison told CNN the former socialite is given special treatment, such as receiving as much toilet paper as she wants, her own cell where she has her meals delivered and private use of a chaplain’s office for meetings outside normal visitation hours.
Annie Farmer, a victim who testified against Maxwell in 2021, told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on her Thursday night show she is “disgusted” to hear Epstein’s accomplice is receiving “special treatment” and believes Americans feel the same.
“The question that comes to mind is: Why? It’s hard to know why this would happen, unless there’s something, you know, it’s someone she knows or something she knows that would be enabling this special treatment,” Farmer said.
