BANGKOK: The UAE women’s under-21 jiu-jitsu national team added three more medals to the country’s growing tally at the 2025 World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday.

The team, sponsored by Mubadala Investment Co., secured gold, silver and bronze, pushing the UAE’s total in the competition to 10 medals, including three gold, four silver and three bronze.
The tournament includes competitions in the age groups under 16, 18 and 21 for male and female athletes.
Alanood Alharbi struck gold in the 48 kg division with a confident, dominant showing. Aysha Alshamsi earned silver in the 45 kg category after a solid run, while Mariam Al-Ali claimed bronze in the same category following a series of competitive bouts.
