Cynthia Erivo had Ariana Grande's back during a scary red carpet incident.
The "Wicked: For Good" stars stepped out on Nov. 13 at the film's premiere in Singapore, where videos shared on social media showed a man running out onto the carpet and grabbing Grande.
Erivo quickly jumped in to help pull the man away from her costar before security intervened, as seen in videos showing multiple angles of the moment.
Fans identified the man as Johnson Wen, who uses the name Pyjama Man on social media. On his verified Instagram account, Wen posted a clip of the incident and in the caption thanked Grande "for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You," drawing widespread condemnation in the comments.
"You literally assaulted her. this isn't a flex, it's a crime. shame on you!" one person commented.
