Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Sex and the City and Hocus Pocus icon Sarah Jessica Parker is set to receive the Carol Burnett Golden Globe Award in Hollywood on Jan. 8.
"Sarah Jessica Parker's career embodies the very spirit of the Carol Burnett Award," Helen Hoehne -- president of the Golden Globes -- said in a press release Thursday.
"Her trailblazing impact on television and her dedication to storytelling across stage and screen have left an indelible mark on popular culture. We are honored to celebrate her extraordinary contributions to entertainment."
