Nov. 13 (UPI) -- New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson sustained a right ankle injury and departed in the fourth quarter of a 124-107 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Brunson injured the ankle with about two minutes remaining in the setback Wednesday in New York. He exited with 1:52 left on the game clock.

"He turned his right ankle," Knicks coach Mike Brown told reporters. "That's all I know."

The Knicks trailed 115-99 at the time of the injury sequence. Brunson dribbled over half court before dashing into the paint. He then picked up his dribble and coasted toward the rim, but stepped on center/forward Wendell Carter Jr.'s left foot in the process. Brunson's right ankle bent awkwardly when he made contact with Carter.
