Former NFL linebacker Mel Owens made the life-altering decision between two senior contestants in the "Golden Bachelor" Season 2 finale that aired Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Wearing a blue suit paired with white Hoka sneakers on an Antigua beach, Owens, 66, presented his final, golden rose to Peg Munson, 62, a retired firefighter and bomb tech from Las Vegas, Nevada. But first, there was a commitment ring.
"I trusted you, you trusted me. You told me you had confidence in me that I'd make the right choice. And here you are," said Owens, presenting a Neil Lane diamond ring to Munson and placing it on her finger. "I have a ring, and this represents a commitment to love. To give us time together to figure out what our future holds."
